Privacy notice

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This Privacy Notice for QualSig ("we", "us", or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and share ("process") your personal information when you visit qualsig.com or any other site of ours that links to this notice, or engage with us in any other related way.

Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you have questions, contact us at ayv.daniel@gmail.com.

Scope note. QualSig is pre-launch. Today the site collects only an email address, submitted through the early access form and processed by Web3Forms. Parts of this notice describe functionality that is planned rather than live, including payments, cookies and analytics, AI features, advertising, and accounts. Those clauses take effect when the features they describe ship.

Contents

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. This may include:

Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number and its security code. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice at stripe.com/en-ca/privacy.

Form submissions. The early access form on qualsig.com is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When you submit the form, Web3Forms receives and stores the email address you entered, together with your IP address and a timestamp, which it uses to filter spam and abuse. It then forwards the submission to us by email. See web3forms.com and its privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, health data, or biometric data.

Third parties. We do not collect any information from third parties.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to it.

Information automatically collected

In short: some information, such as your IP address and browser or device characteristics, is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, and coarse location. It is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for internal analytics and reporting.

It includes log and usage data: timestamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, features used, device event information such as system activity and error reports, and hardware settings. We also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

Categories we do not collect

Under California law, the only category we collect is Identifiers. We do not collect customer records data, protected classifications, commercial or purchase history, biometric data, browsing or search history used for profiling, device-level geolocation, audio or video recordings, employment information, education records, or inferences drawn to create a profile.

2. How do we process your information?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process it for other purposes with your consent.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons and pixels. These fall into two groups: strictly necessary technologies that support security, crash prevention and your preferences, and third-party analytics and advertising technologies.

We use Google Analytics, including its Advertising Features for Demographics and Interests Reporting. You can opt out through Google's opt-out browser add-on or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out.

4. AI-based features

We offer AI-powered features including AI predictive analytics, AI automation, and AI development. To power them, we work with third-party AI service providers, specifically Anthropic and OpenAI. Your input, output, and personal information may be shared with these providers to enable the features. You must comply with each provider's own terms and policies when using them.

5. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We have not sold or shared personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve months, and we do not plan to.

Email addresses submitted through the early access form are shared with Web3Forms, which processes the submission and forwards it to us.

We may also share information with affiliates under common control, who are bound to honour this notice; with business partners for joint products, services or promotions; and in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets.

6. What are your privacy rights?

These rights apply across the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Canada, and the following US states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

How to exercise them. The easiest route is to submit a data subject access request, or to email ayv.daniel@gmail.com. We will verify your identity before acting and may ask for more information to do so.

If you are in the UK and wish to complain, we will acknowledge within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed, and explain the outcome. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. Residents of the EEA, UK or Switzerland may complain to their own supervisory authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

7. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, or as required by law for tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Identifiers are retained for as long as you have an account with us.

When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your information, we will delete or anonymise it. Where that is not immediately possible, for example because it sits in a backup, we will isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, anyone under 18 years of age or the age of majority where you live. By using the Services you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under that age, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. If you become aware of any such data, contact us at ayv.daniel@gmail.com.

9. Is your information transferred internationally?

Our servers are located in Canada and the United States. If you are accessing our Services from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in those countries.

For transfers out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting. No uniform technology standard for recognising DNT signals has been finalised, so we do not currently respond to them. California law requires us to state this explicitly. If a standard is adopted, we will update this notice.

11. Do we make updates to this notice?

We may update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The revised version will be marked by an updated date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you prominently or directly.

12. How can you contact us?

Email ayv.daniel@gmail.com.

To review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, submit a data subject access request.
